it’s not trying to be the darkest thing you’ve ever read.
this sits more in that light gray, morally messy space.
everyone is a little off. nobody is fully good. but it doesn’t cross so far that it becomes hard to read.
and the academy setting carries it — assassin school, power, tension, hierarchy.
