look, i understand why this book became such a phenomenon. it's weird. it's dark. it's the kind of book that has you texting your friends "what am i actually reading right now?" every few chapters. haunting adeline hits that sweet spot of creepy, obsessive, and addictive that kept me turning pages long past when i should've gone to bed.
