this book belongs because…
i usually love a monogamous story. why choose is not normally my thing. but two hot stepbrothers with completely different personalities, both in love with the same woman? like, what the fuck. how do i get that? this book did something to me, and the beginning grabbed me immediately. personally, elliot was my favorite. he’s vindictive, and i dig that.
verdict
my least favorite of the four north shore books, and still damn good. my order is 4, 2, 1, 3. last place in this series does not mean a bad book.
vibe
dark, messy and personal. old history, revenge and two very different kinds of trouble.

you want an mfm dark romance with two very different men, a shared history with the fmc and an opening that gets straight into the problem. even if why choose is not usually your thing, this one might surprise you.
you need a monogamous romance, gentle love interests or a light story. read the author’s content warnings before starting.

dubious consent, kidnapping, murder, torture, blackmail and coercive control, toxic jealousy, police violence, sexual assault, recollections of sexual assault involving a minor, childhood abuse, past bullying, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, parental death and suicide references. see the author’s full content warnings before reading.
standalone + hea
book 3 in north shore stories. an interconnected standalone; i would start with beautiful fiend for the full history.
if this is your kind of book,
stay a little longer.
