emmett montgomery had opinions about her before she walked through the door. he’d built a whole version of her in his head — the owner who didn’t belong, who didn’t understand the game, who was going to make his job harder.
and then he met her.
he never tries to dim her. not once. she runs the team, she holds the room, she knows exactly who she is — and instead of being threatened by it, he just moves out of the way and lets her shine. which, honestly, is the most attractive thing he does.
