and honestly?
i’d do it again.
lights out by navessa allen is one of the few dark romances that’s had me laughing one minute and kicking my feet the next. if you’ve been curious about it but keep talking yourself out of buying it because it’s not on kindle unlimited…
this is me telling you it’s worth it.
is lights out worth it?
yes.
i genuinely loved this book.
if you’re expecting something as dark as haunting adeline or that sik luv, though, let me stop you there.
this isn’t that.
it’s still obsessive.
it’s still spicy.
there are definitely stalker vibes.
but this book has a sense of humor, and that’s what makes it stand out.
i smiled through so much of it.

if you’re ready to jump into the deep end, pick up that sik luv. it’s one of the darkest romances i’ve read and definitely not for the faint of heart.
or if you just want another morally gray man who’s impossible to look away from, i’d recommend under your scars.

i know paying for books when they’re not on kindle unlimited can feel like a gamble.
this one wasn’t.
i genuinely loved it.
it’s funny, ridiculously entertaining, spicy, and one of the easiest dark romance recommendations i have for someone who’s curious about the genre but doesn’t want to jump straight into the deep end.
if you want full psychological darkness…
read that sik luv.
