verdict

look, i don't usually reach for high school romance.

but give me a protective soccer captain with an unhealthy amount of devotion and suddenly i'm seated.

rhys had me in a chokehold, thayer never let him get away with anything, and between the soccer, the tension, and the obsession, i was glued to my kindle.
