here’s the thing about malachi that leigh rivers does so well. he is not pretending this is okay. she is not pretending this is okay. the book is not pretending this is okay. and somehow that complete self awareness about how messy and forbidden and wrong this all is makes it completely impossible to put down. you spend the entire book saying this is a terrible idea and turning the page anyway.
he’s the stepbrother. the one who barely talks. the one she sent to jail.
step siblings, forbidden love, touch her and die, obsessive mmc, he went to prison and came back, taboo romance.
how spicy is little stranger?⌄
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 — the spice is the point. leigh rivers does not hold back. if you’re looking for subtle, this is not that book.
is little stranger really that dark?⌄
darkness 4/5 — taboo relationship themes, incarceration, trauma, manipulation, and emotional chaos throughout. check content warnings and take them seriously.
does little stranger end on a cliffhanger?⌄
yes. have book two ready. you will need it immediately.
what should i read if i love malachi vize?⌄
haunting adeline by h.d. carlton and that sik luv by jescie hall deliver that same obsessive, forbidden, addictive energy. insatiable by leigh rivers is the next move if kade mitchell didn’t already wreck you.
